I’m a few weeks overdue in announcing this to the public, but we picked a winner for our Tom Tom Magazine one-year subscription giveaway. Our winner was April Jouse of Chicago, IL.

Although April was chosen in a totally random fashion, I could not have chosen a better winner. Tom Tom is a magazine dedicated to female drummers, and April is a kick-ass female drummer. Perfect! Her band, Squish, has been playing together for a year or so, are all self-taught musicians and just played their first show a few weeks ago.
