Nechville Banjo

Nechville is offering a unique and fancy creation for this Banjo Hangout drawing. Win a Prat Instruments Banjolele

Prat Banjolele Giveaway
What’s a Banjolele? C’mon, you have to ask? It’s a genetic experiment gone terribly right, as the banjo and ukulele are now one! It’s like a marriage between an Hawaiian princess and an Appalachian coal miner. What could go wrong?

David Prat is a fretted instrument maker in Barcelona who just happens to make such an instrument! And the guys at Banjo Hangout have gotten their hands on one for this month’s banjo giveaway.

Win a Native Instruments Maschine 2

Native Instruments Maschine 2
Looking at the Native Instruments Maschine 2, it reminds me of the time spent playing Simon as a child, but I have a feeling there’s a lot more going on here!

The Maschine 2 is actually loaded with over 6GB of killer sample content, plus a full version of Native Instruments’ Massive virtual synthesizer. It works as both an instrument and a controller, giving you 16 multi-color pads, 9 rotary encoders, and 47 buttons.

Moku Soprano Ukulele
Here in Denver we got a slight dusting of snow this morning, which makes me want to hop on a plane to Hawaii! Mike at Moku Ukuleles must have known, and got me in the mood with a new uke giveaway on the Moku Facebook page.

Win a TurboHarp Turbo Twenty Deluxe Harmonica

TurboHarp
I always love it when a company takes a new angle on an old instrument. TurboHarp has taken the harmonica, an instrument that many would say was perfected by Hohner over 100 years ago, and really created some beautiful new products.

TurboHarp recently launched a new Facebook page, and celebrated their 100th “like” by launching a harmonica giveaway. Head over to their website to find how how you can win a TurboHarp Turbo Twenty Deluxe harmonica. These harps come in five very attractive colors and sell for $59.99.

Win a Hand-Painted Kala Ukulele

Kala Ukulele Giveaway
Summer’s almost over, but there’s still time enough for one more trip to the beach for some sun, tropical cocktails, and tunes played on a ukulele.

This ukulele giveaway, sponsored by Kala Ukuleles and Dunlop, adds a bit of twistedness to the typical uke. These instruments were hand-painted by San Francisco based artist “Dirty” Donny Gillies, who is widely known for his work in the rock, punk and metal music realms, designing album covers, show posters and band merchandise for the likes of The Melvins, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Metallica, among many others. Dirty (as I like to call him) painted two Kala Solid Acacia Ukuleles, each of which will go to one lucky winner. And Dunlop will send a box of brand new Dunlop Ukulele Strings to each winner.

Win a Custom Sullivan V-35 Banjo

Sullivan Banjo Giveaway
Here’s a chance to win a serious heirloom banjo. I mean, this is something you can pass on to your sister’s cousin’s son (also known as your brother).

Seriously, though, Vintage-35 banjos from Sullivan Banjo Company sell for over $4,000, and the word on the street is that they’re worth every penny. The winner of this banjo giveaway will also have a chance to customize their banjo. They will get their choice of maple or mahogany, and can choose to have a speed neck if desired.
