The Xenyx 802 is a surprisingly great little mixer. It consistently receives positive reviews and is incredibly useful for podcasters, home studio applications as well as for live events. I can personally vouch for this product. I use one for basic remote recording for podcasting and, for the money, does a great job.

The XENYX 802 has 8 inputs and a FX Send control for each channel. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility.
