Last week I posted a link to an Ansir bass guitar giveaway. It looked like a cool axe, but I admitted that I had never heard of Ansir before, and that I didn’t know a whole lot about the guitars.

Well, today I stumbled upon a few YouTube videos created by Ansir founder Jody Michael, talking about the theory behind his basses. He also walks you through the building of an Ansir bass, including the wood selection and some pretty in-depth info about the pickups and other electronics that are dropped into Ansir basses.
